A resident of Western Kentucky, Dr. Floyd is joining Rainbow Kids Clinic in the fall of 2017. She graduated from University of Missouri-Columbia in 1993 with a degree in Biology. She then attended Wright State University School of Medicine in Dayton, OH and graduated with a Doctor of Medicine in 1997. She completed her pediatric residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in Hawaii in 2000. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics and has served children and families in the US Army, eastern Pennsylvania and for the last 4 years, Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Her special interests include ADHD and uncomplicated mental health disorders in older children and adolescents.
Dr. Vidya Bansal MD, FAAP is a Board Certified Pediatrician with over 11 years of clinical and community experience. After graduating from David Lipscomb University, She completed her pediatric residency in Chicago in 2006 and did one year of Fellowship training at the prestigious Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital in Cleveland. She brings a vast experience with families in urban, rural, and suburban communities, ranging from general pediatric concerns to urgent child and family advocacy. Being a Middle Tennessean since her toddler years, Dr. Bansal holds a special place in her heart for Middle Tennessee's families and children. As a mother to a 6 year old son, she and her husband have a unique parental understanding of having a child and all the excitement as well as worries for both moms and dads that come with being parents. Being the founder of a Facebook group of physician moms that has more than 7000 members all over the country, she was featured on Nashville Public Radio for her women's advocacy work, and in May 2018, named as one of the "Most Bold and Inspiring South Asian-American Women in North America."
Pam Bush is a native of Cadiz,KY. She is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She received Bachelor of Science in nursing from Austin Peay State University in 1990 and received her Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama in 2005. Pam has been married over 20 years and has two children. She enjoys sports, cooking and raising a garden.
Jennifer Nelson is a long term resident of Clarksville, TN. She is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Jennifer received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Austin Peay State University in 1988 and her Masters of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University in 2007. She has also served as a clinical instructor for Vanderbilt School of Nursing. She is married and has 2 children.
Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with over 25 years experience specializing in pediatric primary care. Retired army nurse and has been a resident in clarksville for 25 years with husband and family. Skilled in the diagnosing and management of acute illnesses and well physicial exams for new borns to young adults.
Camille is from East Tennessee. She completed her bachelor's degree in Nutrition from East Tennessee State University and moved to Nashville in 2014 to attend Vanderbilt's Masters of Science in Nursing program. She is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Camille is married and has one dog. She has a special interest in childhood obesity.
Jody joined Rainbow Kids Clinic in May of 2017 and has lived in Clarksville for the last 2 years. She is originally from Ohio and is a former Army nurse who served during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2004. She later received her Masters in Nursing from The Ohio State University in 2011, and recently became certified as a Child Passenger Safety Technician. She has a special interest in newborn and toddler sleep as well as asthma education and management. Jody is married, has three young children and enjoys sewing and making wood crafts as a hobby.
