Biography

Dr. Prabhu has been a practicing pediatrician in the Clarksville area since 1999. He obtained his medical degree (MBBS) from Kasturba Medical College in Manipal, India, in 1983. After completing three years of training in pediatrics (MD) in the same institution, he went to England in 1986, where he worked in different hospitals around London and Glasgow, obtaining his MRCP and DCH degrees from the Royal College of Physicians of London.

In 1992, Dr. Prabhu moved to the United States. He completed two more years of pediatric residency training in Orlando, Florida, and nearly two years of training in Pediatric Nephrology at Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. In 1996, Dr. Prabhu started his pediatric practice in Erin, a small town 30 miles northwest of Clarksville, and then three years later moved his practice to Clarksville. In 2011 he moved to the current location, 111 Otis Smith Dr.

Hobbies & Interests

When he is not treating patients, Dr. Prabhu enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Saritha Prabhu, and their two boys. His other interests include playing tennis, golfing, and traveling.
